Gbowee’s memoir: MIGHTY BE OUR POWERS: How Sisterhood, Prayer, and Sex Changed a Nation at War launches nationwide on Tuesday, September 13th, and Gbowee features prominently in the forthcoming PBS series, Women, War and Peace.
We are thrilled to extend this special invitation to bring your lunch and your curiosity, and to join Gbowee in a conversation about both her own experiences standing up for peace and civil rights in wartorn Liberia, and about how to identify and approach conflicts in our own communities.
